Pneumatic Locking Masts

Will-Burt’s Pneumatic Locking Masts are engineered for prolonged deployment durations. Available in both Heavy-Duty and Super Heavy-Duty variants, these masts provide a lightweight elevation solution with a high payload capacity. Mounted on vehicles or trailers, these telescoping pneumatic locking masts feature locking collars that allow them to stay extended indefinitely without needing air pressure. Full-length keyways ensure directional azimuth and deliver precise pointing accuracy.

Remote Locking System

Will-Burt’s patent-pending Remote Locking System for pneumatic masts enables operators to lock and unlock the mast from a safe distance, with no manual interaction required for raising or lowering. The system is intuitive, requiring minimal training and reducing the likelihood of operator errors. Installation is straightforward, with no need for ladders or access platforms. The Remote Locking System is compatible with any Heavy-Duty or Super Heavy-Duty pneumatic mast system up to 60 feet (18 meters) and any Ultra Heavy-Duty pneumatic mast system up to 80 feet (24 meters).

Ultra Heavy-Duty Masts

The Ultra Heavy-Duty mast is a telescoping pneumatic mast constructed from weather-resistant anodized aluminum, featuring easy-to-operate and durable positive locking pins for safe, long-term deployment without air pressure. Compared to hydraulic steel masts, it offers a higher lifting capacity at a lighter weight of 880 pounds (399 kg). This mast does not require hydraulic fluid for elevation, eliminating the risk of environmentally hazardous leaks. The Ultra Heavy-Duty Mast is capable of significant unguyed performance, making antenna deployment easier in paved parking lots and urban settings. It has a total payload lifting capacity of 1200 pounds (544 kg) at a height of 59 feet (18 meters). With a nested height of 11.3 feet (3.4 meters), it eliminates the need for a tilt system, resulting in cost savings, reduced complexity, and increased payload capacity on COW or COLT units.

Pneumatic Non-Locking Masts

Will-Burt’s pneumatic non-locking telescoping masts are ideal for deploying transmission or surveillance equipment. Available in both Standard Duty and Heavy-Duty models, these masts offer a lightweight elevation solution with a high payload capacity. These masts are lightweight, reliable, and ensure precise directional azimuth with full-length keyways. They can be mounted on trailers or vehicles.

Low Profile Masts

Will-Burt’s Low-Profile mast features an innovative internal collar design that optimizes the ratio between the nested and extended heights, resulting in a shorter retracted mast. Each collar is stored inside the next, rather than being stacked on top of each other, minimizing the stowed mast height. An integrated locking payload top plate stabilizes the payload during stowage and transit. Additionally, Will-Burt’s design minimizes extended mast twist, providing the best possible video feed.

Clark Masts

Since the late 1950s, Clark has specialized in designing and manufacturing fast-erecting pneumatic telescopic and sectional mast systems for both civilian and military applications. Thousands of these masts have been used by authorities worldwide. Now a brand within the Will-Burt portfolio, Clark will continue its tradition of quality performance and world-class customer service. Clark masts are known for their robust performance in the most severe environments, having been tested and approved to meet the rigorous standards of MIL STD 810F. The Clark range of field, vehicle, and shelter lightweight and man-portable pneumatic masts is the ideal choice for missions requiring quick deployment of communications and surveillance equipment up to 320 kg and 34 meters in height.
