BT's 75 Ohm coaxial cables can be applied to CATV and SMATV devices. Their operating temperatures range between -25°C to 75°C, and maximum operating voltage is 300 Vrms.

The cable design features a solid copper covered steel conductor (CCS), foamed polyethylene dielectric, bonded aluminium / polyester foil screen with 100% coverage, aluminium braid, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath material, with a standard put up length of 305 or 500 metres.
