The tactical throwing sensor (TTS) and forward sensor system (FSS) are mobile reconnaissance robots specially designed to provide real-time video of environment before military and homeland security personnel are sent in.

It also offers great advantage to the team when the ambient light is low or where there is total darkness as the built-in infrared optical system is activated to provide a clear real-time video feed that can be transmitted to the control display system (CDS).
