IVECO LIGHT MULTIROLE VEHICLE in its Panther Command and Liaison configuration is being displayed on the BAE Land Systems stand.
The LMV features Iveco’s unique 'dual role’ philosophy which marries a highly survivable cabin with tuneable ballistic and mine protection to exceptional off road mobility. LMV is a vehicle ideally suited for the needs of providing high the levels of personnel protection and survivability demanded by modern military customers.
IVECO DAILY with 4×4 conversion. Similar vehicles are currently under review by a number of European military customers who are seeking the benefits a COTS solution coupled to a versatile off road capability.
IVECO 40E13WM 4×4 on/off-road minibus. Developed as a PSV capable of troop transportation, a role formerly fulfilled by a 4 tonne GS truck fitted with bench seats. The 40E13WM chassis is a fully militarised derivative of the market leading Daily series. Carrying a driver plus eleven soldiers, complete with personal equipment, the vehicle represents an affordable, safe and effective solution for transporting soldiers across terrain which is unsuitable for conventional minibuses.
IVECO EUROCARGO 4×4 and IVECO TRAKKER 8×8. Derived from Iveco’s commercial truck range these all wheel drive trucks provide ideal examples of how COTS vehicles can be adapted to provide cost effective military logistic transport solutions. Both vehicle types have been modified to include various military features including black out and convoy lighting, military pattern tow hooks and recovery eyes. These types of COTS trucks, adapted to customers specific needs are in service with nine NATO forces as well as other military customers throughout the world.
As can be seen by the vehicles on display Iveco has at its disposal an impressive civil and military research and development capability to produce a range of specialised vehicles which are exceptionally well suited to meet the demands of today’s and tomorrow’s military user.
