In February this year Breakbulk Africa Congress in Johannesburg and IDEX in Abu Dhabi took place as two important trade fairs of the heavy haulage and military industry.
From 16 – 19 February, 2015, DOLL took place in Breakbulk Africa Congress, Johannesburg.
However, the first trailers were already sold to South Africa more than 10 years ago.
The main purpose of this fair was therefore to gain new impressions of the market to be able to reinforce future sales activities.
Over the past years, Africa has become one of the most favourable markets for heavy haulage with endless logistics opportunities due to infrastructure development, growing domestic demand and a general increase in global trade.
Altogether, Breakbulk Africa Congress was an excellent opportunity to make some very good contacts and to receive a positive feedback on the quality of DOLL trailers.
Furthermore, IDEX in Abu Dhabi took place from 22 – 26 February as the most strategically important tri-service defence exhibition not only for the Middle East region, but also for African and Asian markets.
DOLL was part of more than 50 other exhibitors within the German Pavilion presenting itself as the competent partner from Europe for military transport solutions.
The trade fair was an important event for DOLL to drive the positive trend of 2014 for military trailers forward.
DOLL also took the opportunity to intensify existing business relationships and to establish new contacts with key figures of the industry as well as with buyers and users.
This year, visitors showed a special interest in heavy equipment transporters (HETs). All in all, the company is more than confident to generate operative earnings for 2015 that will exceed the result achieved in 2014.
