Trident Research has been awarded a sole source solicitation for a FY17 contract with Strategic Systems Programmes (SSP), a Department of the US Navy, for overall management of the Portable Impact Location System (PILS) Re-entry Body (RB) impact scoring system.
During this time, Trident Research will support FBM flight missions, offering detailed knowledge and experience with integrating the operations of PILS.
Over the years, Trident Research employees have spent endless hours in the field and at the office perfecting their knowledge of the engineering principles involved with the PILS system.
A sole source contract with SSP is an honourable opportunity and one we intend to advance in.
