Since its formation, Calytrix has focused on the defence training and simulation community, although recently the company has expanded into the broader education and disaster response sectors. Calytrix maintains a leading industry edge on the development of simulation systems. Calytrix Training Systems (CaTS) provides tailored consulting and support services to ensure that Calytrix’s technology edge can be combined effectively into an end-to-end training and simulation support package.
CaTS combines state of the art technology systems with expertise of experienced military professionals to deliver high-quality, focused operational training and support. CaTS utilises a number of COTS products designed to support the entire exercise and training cycle. All of CaTS’ employees are veteran military officers with a wealth of operational and training experience.

Using experienced operational planners combined with highly skilled simulation engineers Calytrix provides world leading Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) exercise support. Integrating the latest simulation systems across a dedicated WAN, or LAN, Calytrix maximizes exercise outcomes and reduces exercise resource requirements. Calytrix is the only full time technical provider to the ADF’s largest LVC group: the Joint and Combined Training Capability. Calytrix Training Systems provides training, planning, and assessment support as a complete technology and expertise package.

Calytrix Technologies Pty Ltd (ABN 75 092 706 217) was established in Perth, Western Australia in 2001. In March 2003 Calytrix opened an office in the US to establish a direct support and marketing presence.
