Recadata today announced the volume production of 2TB models in its rugged secure 2.5in SATA III SSD I6 Series military SSD line, which delivers 1788.5GB usable capacity and outstanding performance approximately up to 70K/72K Random R/W for 4KB blocks.
Meeting the need for those who prefer a simpler and much bigger capacity architecture roadmap, Recadata expanded their reliable military SSD range further with a 2.5in SATA form factor SSD upto 2TB military SSDs.
It supports all military SSD requirements such as:
- Wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- Rugged designs with anti-shock and anti-vibration
- Secure erase (ATA commmand or 2 pin jumper)
- AES256 encryption
- Power fail protection (utilised tantalum capacitor design)
In addition, it is also provided with a rugged SATA connector option that requires a large capacity for rugged data storage systems in length aviation for ruggedised mission critical environments. It is an ideal and affordable storage solution for industrial and military applications where intense writing is not prevalent.
