ILIAS Solutions was honoured to be invited to the industry signing ceremony hosted by Lockheed Martin.
This ceremony provided an opportunity to celebrate the long-standing relationship between the Belgian industry and Lockheed Martin.
Signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Lockheed Martin establishes a base in which future industrial engagements can be created, engaged and fostered. This ceremony provides a platform to the Belgian industry and Lockheed Martin for future partnerships and combined innovations.
The signing took place at the Diamant Brussels Conference & Business Centre on 17 September. This event also gave attendees the opportunity to meet F-35 test pilot Billie Flynn, and to test a visual and audio interactive F-35 demonstrator which highlighted the aircraft’s technologies and combat capabilities.
Lockheed Martin F-35 business development and strategy integration vice-president Jack Crisler said: "These memorandum’s of understanding signify Lockheed Martin’s interest in exploring industrial cooperation opportunities in high-technology defence, aerospace, cyber and security sectors.
"The MoU supports potential industrial cooperation opportunities that Lockheed Martin may pursue in Belgium."
