MAJOR PROGRAM EXPERIENCE FOR ABSOLUTE ENCODERS

Absolute Encoders have been used on projects including Bradley, Avenger, Linebacker, M1A2, Korean K1, Canadian Reece, Swedish CV-90, Challenger, Breacher, GKN Warrior, AARM Missile and LAVIII.

16 bit multi-turn absolute encoder designed for G.M. of Canada’s new generation of armored personnel carrier. Encoder provides azimuth position of turret and incorporates interface mounting plate and gearing.

10-bit multi-turn absolute encoder designed with integral interface gearing. Used on Swedish CV90 tank and English Scimitar vehicle.

Custom-engineered flip-flop scanner designed for night vision assemblies incorporates oscillating mirror, position sensors and electronics module to provide precision scanning.

Small 1.6'' diameter absolute encoder with up to 16-bits resolution. Used in laser range finders, armoured vehicles and other military applications.

The Nanoseries AIME-2 is a high-resolution, single station, self-calibrating, absolute optical encoder.
