Hotzone Solutions (HZS) and the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) have signed a strategic partnership agreement on 23 October 2012, which will allow both companies to reinforce their respective networks and expertise.

TNO will gain access to the HZS network in areas such as the Middle East, North America, and South Asia. HZS and TNO will collaborate in the area of live agent training and field testing of equipment and therefore develop the initial steps towards an international standardisation process for field testing.

HZS will provide TNO with access to training and testing facilities for validation of equipment, thus reinforcing the position of both HZS and TNO in the area of field testing.

The cooperation in the area of field testing of equipment will provide answers to the needs expressed by an increasing number of clients and end users. It is anticipated that such cooperation will represent an added value for the CBRN industries.

The partnership will also facilitate cooperation between HZS and TNO in the area of training, research and development with a view to anticipating future potential CBRNE threats.
