To provide an improved customer service Marshall SV has opened an office in Bristol at the heart of the UK defence industry in the South West.

Situated in the commercial sector of the city, the facility will provide the company with space for meetings with customers including the Ministry of Defence, prime contractors and partners.

Chief executive of parent company Marshall Land Systems, Peter Callaghan, said: "As we continue to develop as a company we took the decision that having an office in the South West at the heart of the defence industry in the region will enable us to be closer, geographically, to many of our customers who have facilities in the area."

He continued: "We have a team of key account managers focussed on developing relationships with customers and partners and the new office will provide them with a base to operate from and to be able to hold meetings in our facilities."

Marshall SV is part of Marshall Land Systems, which is headquartered in Cambridge and has facilities in Mildenhall in Suffolk, Petersfield in Hampshire and near Oslo in Norway.

The company provides solutions based on integrated workspaces, vehicle engineering, unmanned systems, survivability systems, commercial fleet support and helps customers across the defence and security industry with capability development.
