Marshall Land Systems (MLS) and Tectonica Australia (Tectonica) today announced they have signed a partnership agreement to offer Protected Workspace solutions in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
This agreement represents a significant step in the relationship and highlights MLS’s continued commitment to Australia. In order to provide a fully integrated customer service MLS will co-locate its Australian operations with Tectonica. This partnership ensures Australian customers gain access to MLS’s proven, in-service solutions and Tectonica’s local support and manufacturing capabilities.
Under the agreement MLS and Tectonica will seek to enhance Australian industry by investing in local jobs, up skilling employees and undertaking technology transfer while maintaining a commitment to providing value for money solutions.
Peter Callaghan MLS’s chief executive said: "We are delighted to be developing further our partnering agreement with Tectonica. It builds upon strong personal relationships between many of the key executives which have meant the chemistry was right from the start. Tectonica’s technical competence and local knowledge has helped enormously in developing our understanding of the high standards required by the Australian market."
Tectonica’s managing director, Miles Partridge, said: "After seeing MLS’s Protected Workspaces being manufactured and their vehicle integration work there can be no doubt they are world leaders. MLS’s track record provides Australian customers with low risk, MOTS solutions and when combined with Tectonica’s capabilities, it offers Prime Contractors and the Australia Defence Force the best possible mix of proven technology, local content and value for money."
