The introduction of the newest technology laser target pointers at Milipol in Paris attracted an entirely positive response among the professional and knowledgeable visitors from all over the world.
The new compact Flashlight Laser (cFL) Laser has been recognised as a truly unique tool, light weight, small and sturdy and developed based on long experience in engineering and manufacturing of lasers ranging from pistol to military infantry rifle applications. The rugged design and the small dimensions combined with the low weight makes this laser the preferred choice for pistols and the small commando weapon where other targeting devices leave little room to fit a tactical light and a Laser.
The laser is executed with a tactical light in combination with a red visible Laser beam, or an IR illumination LED with an IR Laser beam invisible to the human eye. The IR wavelength is carefully selected to prevent any possible detection by the naked eye. The LED tactical light has a superior life expectancy to the usually employed xenon bulbs and uses far less power. The IR LED provides short range illumination for Night vision goggles. A protective cap prevents the identification of the laser source from a side angle.
The power is factory set to the desired output defined by the tactical requirement of the user. Sophisticated electronics ascertain the maintaining of stable output power throughout the battery life. The laser beam can be adjusted in elevation and azimuth independently. A 10 seconds advance warning alerts the user when batter energy is about to be to low to feed the high power white LED before it switches to an emergency stetting providing a strobe mode light for a extended period.
The laser remains operational throughout and combat readiness is not effected. This exceptional feature guarantees that the user is always in a position to return to a safe cover to change batteries.
The CFL Laser has the following operating modes:
- For normal use = Red beam is push button or remote trigger operated and tactical light operated by a toggle switch. Can be independently activated together or each individually on its own.
- For use with Night Vision Goggles = Infrared beam which is push button or remote trigger operated and IR LED operated by a toggle switch. Can be independently activated together or each individually on its own.
