In the context of a development project with the federal office of military equipment in Germany we “weissdefence” have successfully qualified our Module-R 7B air conditioning unit.

Module-R 7B is developed and qualified for extreme operating temperature ranges of -32 °C to over +55 °C. For this purpose, the Air conditioning unit has passed the following tests:

  • Vibration analysis according to DIN EN 378-2
  • Performance and operation test in the climate zones A1, B3 and C1 according to STANAG 4370 (military standard)
  • Inhouse function check with the customer in the weisstechnik innovation center

With the successful completed qualification, the next step is to concentrate fully on the start of series production.
