Klinge Corporation, the leading manufacturer of transport refrigeration, freezing, and power generation equipment, has announced plans to increase production staff following significant business growth.
Klinge Corporation vice-president Allan Klinge said,"We plan to expand production workforce by nearly 40% to accommodate an increase in sales."
Klinge Corporation has seen growth in military and commercial sales since the start of 2013. The Swedish Defence Force recently purchased an additional 50 military refrigerated containers, after an initial order for 60 units. The equipment is designed and qualified to numerous military standards and features a special hook frame container design.
On the commercial side, the Klinge Corporation has also seen marked demand for their explosion-proof refrigerated containers for the offshore industry. The refrigerated containers are built to the EU’s challenging ATEX directive, which contains safety regulations for equipment used in potentially explosive atmospheres like those experienced on oil rigs and oil tankers.
"The additional staff will not only support our current demand but will better position the company to deploy more rapidly into expanding business markets," added Mr. Klinge.
