On February 17-21, 2013, DHS Systems International, will be displaying several of its Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelters (DRASH) during the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX). The exhibition will be taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

At this year’s conference, DHS International will display a 442ft² MX Shelter that will serve as a medical facility. The company will also display a 519ft² MX5 Shelter that will serve as a command and control center, and a 109 square foot C Series Shelter that will serve as a small command post.

A variety of DRASH Deployable Command and Control Equipment (DC2E) will be set up within the DRASH Shelters. Display systems, audiovisual systems, microphone systems, time zone clocks and an Intelligent Data Distribution System (IDDS™) will demonstrate how they form a fully functioning command and control center.

The DHS International display will also feature the latest technologies in energy efficient power production through the DRASH Intelligent Power Technology® (IPT) Utility Support Trailer. IPT is a digitally controlled system that when fielded consists of multiple interconnected generators that form a networked power microgrid.

This microgrid recognises energy inputs throughout various sections of an operations center and automatically adjusts generators within each section to turn ‘on’ or ‘off’ based on immediate power demands. Although IPT is automatic, the system can be remotely monitored from inside the command post.

The entire display will be set atop BikeTrack™ 2in Hardened Flooring for a sturdy surface. DHS Systems International will be on display at Booth CP-332.
