DAHER-SOCATA, DAHER’s aerospace and defence division, has just received the ‘Most Improved Supplier Award’, presented by Airbus at the annual ceremony, which rewards the aircraft manufacturer’s best suppliers for their performance.
Engaged in all of Airbus’ programs, DAHER-SOCATA is proud to have won this award, which marks recognition of the success of the operational performance improvement projects that have been conducted and for the degree of industrial maturity attained.
"The collective work accomplished by the teams at DAHER-SOCATA has enabled it to rise into the top rank of Airbus suppliers, with plaudits for performance in terms of quality and delivery times," commented Stéphane Mayer, president of the aerospace and defence division.
The prize is very much in line with the goals of DAHER’s strategic plan Performance 2017, launched in early 2013, which particularly focuses on the pursuit of operational excellence in order to become a true champion in the service of the high-technology industries.
The main objective of DAHER under the new strategic plan is to promote sustainable, profitable and balanced growth, in order to be a reliable, long-term partner for the major industrial groups.
