Sital Technology, the world leader in Mil-Std-1553 IP cores and products, announces that it will be providing 1553 training to its customers.
Sital MIL-STD-1553 training covers both the fundamentals issues of the MIL-STD-1553 bus such as architecture, characteristics, components, protocol and products as well as advanced topics like system issues, testing, validation and new developments.
MIL-STD-1553 is a military standard published by the United States Department of Defense that defines the mechanical, electrical and functional characteristics of a serial data bus. Attendees of this training will learn about the requirements of this standard in order to be able to design systems, components and applications which are using the 1553 bus. Problem areas in the standard are clarified and available options are examined and discussed. The training also provides “hands-on” experience in identifying 1553 communication issues and trouble-shooting remote terminal problems.
The main topics covered are:
- Introduction to MIL-STD-1553
- Bus units
- Message formats and protocol
- Mode codes
- System issues
- Physical layer and hardware characteristics
- Testing and validation
- New developments in 1553
- Products and test equipment
“This 1553 training adds value to our on-going relations with our customers” said Nir Hamzani, Sital’s General Manager. “We share our vast knowledge and experience in 1553 with our customers” he added.
