Power equipment for military applications
ELSIS’s main products are switch mode power supplies, battery chargers, DC/DC voltage converters, DC/AC inverters, uninterruptible power supplies, AC line voltage regulators, and electronic power management units.
The majority of the units may be arranged for parallel-redundant operation.
Military-grade mobile and stationary chargers
ELSIS offers a military-grade charger unit that is 220VAC, with 50Hz input and 28VDC / 60A output.
These units are especially suitable for mobile and stationary use, and IP-20 protection class chargers. Additionally, they comply with stringent military specifications for choke, vibration, temperature, EMI / RFI, and electrical transients.
Efficient AC/DC power supply
ELSIS’s 6kW AC/DC power supply has a 95% efficiency rating. The unit features:
- 1U-19in ultra-compact housing
- Single or three-phase AC input
- RS422 and RS485 communication and control ports
- Up to 25 channels of controllable outputs
- Outputs can be adjusted from 25VDC to 48VDC
Naval-grade charger rack for energy supply
ELSIS supplies a 19in naval and military-grade rack that acts as both a charger and power supply. The rack is a three x 115VAC, with 60Hz input and 28VDC / 60A output.
The energy rack is specifically suited to naval use, with its 19in rack type and meeting IP-67 protection class. The unit has natural convection cooling, and complies with stringent naval military specifications for choke, vibration, temperature, salt mist, EMI / RFI and electrical transients.
Naval military-grade DC/AC inverter
The company also offers a 19in rack, pure sine-wave DC/AC naval inverter. It has specifications for 1,500VA, 24VDC input and 220VAC / 50Hz output.
The ELSIS inverter tool is specially designed for naval applications. It is a 19in rack type that meets protection class IP-67. The unit adheres to rigid naval military requirements for choke, vibration, temperature, salt mist, EMI / RFI and electrical transients. The ELSIS units are cooled by 24VDC waterproof fans against forced over-temperature operation.
Military-grade mobile and stationary DC/AC inverter
In contrast to the naval-specific unit, this 19in rack inverter, which also offers pure sine-wave and 24VDC input and 220VAC / 50Hz output, is made specifically for mobile and stationary use. It meets IP-20 protection class standards. It is made to comply with the choke, vibration, temperature, EMI / RFI and electrical transients of military class. The unit is cooled by internal fans and has a height of 2U.
Portable lithium ion battery charger
ELSIS supplies a portable, intelligent lithium ion battery charger that comes equipped with two 16.8VDC batteries. The multi-voltage input has a 12VDC – 32VDC, a 90VAC – 265VAC, and 50Hz. It complies with military specifications for choke, vibration, temperature, EMI / RFI and electrical transients.
High-spec smart and polymer lithium ion batteries
The company offers the military-spec smart lithium-ion and lithium-ion polymer batteries with Smbus V1.1 communication. The batteries feature:
- Maximum voltage of 33.0V, two sections each at 16.5V
- A capacity: In 30V mode, 3.75Ah / In 15V mode, 7Ah
- Storage temperature of -40°C to 70°C
- Temperature operations of -32°C to 60°C
- IP-67 protection class
BC2014 battery charger
- Up to four batteries can be charged simultaneously, including Li-Po batteries (for example, 2xBB2590, 4xBB2847 batteries can be charged in less than two hours)
- With suitable adaptors many variety of batteries can be charged
- ELSIS ‘BC2014’ chargers are in compliance with MIL-STD-1275E, MIL-STD-461E and MIL-STD-810E
E-switch and DCDC converter modules

2.5kW power supply
ELSIS’s new single phase, universal input, fan cooled, MIL-STD compliant ‘Battery Charger’ ELS-2K5-CHR provides 2.5kW of power with a leading efficiency of 95% at 26.7W/in³ outstanding power density. At 28VDC output ELS-2K5-CHR can supply up to 90Adc.
Three modules can be configured in either single or three phase in a standard 19in x 1U rack to provide 7.5kW output power.
