RELYANT Global (RELYANT), along with Teaming Partner, FE&C, was recently awarded a $5,048,597m contract for the Repair and Renovation of the Atlantis Dormitory on Whiteman Air Force Base (AFB) in Missouri. Whiteman AFB is a World War II era base that was commissioned as a training site for glider tactics and paratroopers.
The Atlantis Dormitory is a three-storey building in need of significant repairs and renovations. Work on the dormitory is anticipated to begin in December and conclude in summer 2018.
RELYANT’s contract will facilitate the improvement of energy efficiency; repair and/or replacement of various interior finishes, interior and exterior LED lighting, flooring, painting, windows, and anti-terrorism/force protection requirements; electrical and mechanical upgrades; fire alarm and fire protection; new cover on a large patio with lighting and gas; approximately 50in steel pipe steam distribution lateral in trench drain; approximately 100in sanitary sewer lateral pipe; and incidental-related work.
