Pearson Engineering is proud to present an updated civil defence variant of the company’s successful Super Light Weight Roller, the SLWR.
SLWR is designed specifically for civil defence operations where limited maintenance resource is available, while maintaining all of the key threat-defeating capability and quality expected from a Pearson Engineering counter-IED roller system.
The news follows an announcement earlier this year that Pearson Engineering has created a range of tactical systems for Civil Defence. Whilst continuing to develop capability for the ever-changing combat engineer community, the announcement signalled the company’s diversification into adjacent markets in anticipation of wider requirements.
The new SLWR variant takes into account the requirements of those operating in dangerous environments and provides a significant level of counter-IED protection forces during peace-keeping and security missions.
