Masttech, a joint venture with The Will-Burt Company, is attending the International Defense Industry Fairs (IDEF) located in Istanbul, August 17-20, 2021. Participating in IDEF is an opportunity to present the strengths of our company and connect with government departments, businesses, and armed forces internationally. IDEF is hosted at the Tüyap İstanbul Fair and Congress Center comprised of 14 indoor exhibition halls displaying the latest technology in land, naval, and aviation defense.
While this is an in-person event, Masttech will be taking all precautions and following guidelines to keep our employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Enhanced measures of sanitation, social-distancing, temperature checks, and the use of facemasks are put in place and will be followed by all employees attending the tradeshow.
The Masttech stand is in Hall 5, Stand #531A and displaying the Remote Locking System from Will-Burt. Also on display will be the QEAM MTS Series and other Masttech products.
The Remote Locking System for pneumatic masts allows an operator to lock and unlock the mast from an assured distance. No manual interaction is required to raise or lower the mast. Operation of the system is intuitive, requiring less training and reducing the risk of operator error. Mast installation is simple – there is no need for ladders or access platforms.
The Quick Erecting Antenna Mast (QEAM) MTS Series is a lightweight and transportable telescopic mast that is fast to deploy by a hand-operated lift system or with the optional electric lift system. This field mast is suited for antennas and other payloads that require a stable elevation from 3 to 15 meters and features built-in vertical keyways to minimize payload twists for high pointing accuracy.
