The MILTECH 1002 is a military-grade media converter, offering up to 2 x GbE copper ports, 10/100/1000 Base-TX and two 100/1000 Base-FX fiber ports based TFOCA-II connectors.
The unit supports up to two PoE-PSE ports, which enable it to power up to two devices, and can also be powered by PoE working as PoE-PD device. The military media converter complies to IEEE802.3af and also to the high power new standard IEEE802.3at.
MILTECH 1002 was specifically design to mitigate provide a solution for the newest raising threats, it allows to operate over single strand with only one way data transmission to ensure total segregation between classified networks avoiding any critical information leakages to unclassified and unauthorized agents and personal.

It has fully complied with EMI/RFI MILSTD 461E and power requirements as defined by MILSTD 1275 and 704.
The unit has been especially hardened to improve ingress, impact, and shock / vibration protection, as well as to eliminate all moving parts through passive cooling. All interfaces are through-sealed MIL-D-38999 circular connectors.
