The MILTECH™ 1000 is a MIL-STD rugged, unmanaged military-grade media converter, offering up to 2GB copper ports, 10/100/1000 Base-TX and two 100/1000 Base-FX fibre ports. The unit supports up to two PoE-PSE ports, which enable it to power up to two devices, and can also be powered by PoE working as PoE-PD. The military media converter complies to IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at.
The MILTECH 1000 is compatible with all the newest military network protocols for redundant link topology and link security requirements.

Developed specifically for military and harsh defence applications, the MILTECH 1000 features mechanical packaging enhancements designed for MIL-STD-810F airborne and ground environmental compliance with extremely high reliability. It has fully complied with EMI/RFI MILSTD 461E and power requirements as defined by MILSTD 1275 and 704.
The unit has been especially hardened to improve ingress, impact, and shock / vibration protection, as well as to eliminate all moving parts through passive cooling. All interfaces are through-sealed MIL-D-38999 circular connectors.
