Rajant Corporation, the pioneer of kinetic mesh networks and provider of pervasive, multi-frequency wireless solutions, today announced that Gary Anderson, senior vice president, will present the next generation of mobile wireless networks at the Military Wireless Conference. The conference will run from June 27-29, 2011, at the Sheraton National Hotel Arlington in Arlington, VA.
“We are committed to supporting our nation’s armed forces, so we’re looking forward to the opportunities that this prestigious venue offers,” said Gary Anderson, senior vice president of sales. “Rajant’s kinetic mesh network technology is the ideal solution for a wide range of military applications because of its rugged construction, inherent security features, ease of deployment and support, and adaptability to the most challenging network environments.”
Rajant’s kinetic mesh network technology addresses the wireless data drain by offering solutions to offload cellular network traffic. Rajant does this by shifting from high use frequencies to white space (little used frequencies).
Specific military applications of Rajant’s kinetic mesh technology include convoy communications, perimeter security, surveillance, UAV applications, man-portable and PAN, instant high-bandwidth net, video monitoring, sensor aggregation and vehicle-communications on the move.
The highlighted solutions are all based on the proven Rajant BreadCrumb® wireless, portable mesh networking nodes and InstaMesh software, which enable continuous and instantaneous routing of wireless and wired connections. This dynamic frequency-hopping capability allows for total network mobility (kinetic meshing) as well as robust fault tolerance, high throughput and low latency.
