After an international bidding process that brought together companies from the ten countries participating in the ESSM consortium, INTRACOM Defense Electronics (IDE) has won the contract for the design and development of electronic units for the Block 2 improved version of the surface-to-air Evolved SeaSparrow Missile (ESSM).
The amount of the agreement is $5.6m, while there are reasonable prospects for the participation of IDE in the production and support phases of the missile.
The high-quality standards and capabilities of IDE have established the company as a reliable partner in the successful international course of the ESSM programme.
