EXPAL USA will showcase its latest developments and technologies to support Armed Forces’ current and future requirements at the AUSA 2018 Annual Meeting and Exposition held in Washington between 8-10 October.
EXPAL operates in the US market through EXPAL USA. Headquartered in Dallas, EXPAL USA has state-of-the-art facilities in Texarkana, Texas, and a R&D centre in Camp Minden, Louisiana.
The company started its activity in 2011 as a demilitarisation partner of the US Army and has since then enlarged its activity by developing new energetic material for the US DoD.
Recently, the company entered the last stage of the certification process to become the second source for Carpet Roll Propellants for 2.75in / 70mm Rocket Motors, following an international tender launched in 2014 by the Naval Sea Systems Command.
“We are excited to see how our presence in the US has expanded over the recent years. We continue to look forward to seeing how we can expand our presence in the US by bringing in key technologies to address US DoD requirements and create new opportunities in the defence arena,” said EXPAL USA general manager, Steve Dart.
As a global expert in ammunition and explosives, EXPAL will present its wide portfolio of products, systems and services for Air, Land and Sea Armed Forces at AUSA exhibition, showcasing its latest developments in engineering equipment and electronic proximity fuzes.
Due to its tradition and expertise, which started its activity in 1911, the company is able to manage the entire lifecycle of ammunition, from their design, development and manufacturing to their destruction at the end of their life.
EXPAL will be located at booth 3345.
