The FAUN Trackway team recently exhibited at the Military Engineering Centre of Excellence (MILENG COE) Industry Day on the 2 December in Ingolstadt, Germany.
MILENG COE brings together key international companies working in the field of military engineering. This year’s Industry Day was centred around the MILENG COE Information Exchange Seminar (IES), which focused on the topic of ‘Military Engineering Support to Warfighting’.
The event was opened by MILENG COE director, Col Niels Janeke (DEU-A), who delivered a speech on the topic.
Delegates from Nato and partner nations were in attendance, and on the day, the challenges of today’s operational environments, lessons learned, solutions and future developments were discussed in detail.
During the conference FAUN spoke with military engineers of various ranks from Germany, Slovakia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, the US and the UK.
We showcased our impressive array of expedient aviation and roadway solutions, which can help to meet the complex needs of modern-day military operations.
It was great to catch up with colleagues from KMW, Mabey Bridge and Avlite, among many others, and following the day, the FAUN team was treated to a fantastic Bavarian buffet alongside 100 people who had attended the event.
