Faun Trackway’s Heavy Ground Mobility System (HGMS) is used by forces across the world and travels to places far and wide to attend leading defence industry exhibitions.
Recently one of our demo units took a trip much closer to home to appear at the 2013 Defence Vehicle Dynamic (DVD) event in Milbrook, Bedfordshire, which took place from 19-20 June.
DVD is one of the main events in the defence calendar for those supplying equipment to the UK’s land forces.
The show offered an opportunity for delegates to get up close to the HGMS, mounted on to an Iveco Trakker 8×8 truck, and learn about how it can provide an expedient ground surfacing solution in challenging terrains such as snow, ice or marshland.
