Secure locations for military vehicles, weapons and staff living quarters
Before the Olympic flame was lit in Athens, the US Government needed a highly secure location for parking military vehicles, storing weapons and temporarily housing workers.
Target Logistics took on the challenge of converting Geitonas School into a functional, secure and enjoyable short-term living quarters for more than 600 federal agents and staff.
In addition to converting the classrooms into dorm rooms, we installed air-conditioning and laundromats, added showers and toilets, turned soccer fields into helicopter pads and brought in furniture, linens and onsite catering, all within 30 days.
Secure short-term housing for military personnel in Iraq
Halfway through the construction of temporary military housing for the US Army Corps of Engineers in Basra, Iraq, their contractor was unable to finish the job with 2,000 Iraqi police and border guards waiting to move in.
Within 30 days of the contract signed, Target Logistics made sure the military personnel were able to move into a short-term housing facility that offered clean, comfortable rooms, top-level security and a dining facility that answered the needs of every taste, culture and dietary requirement. The camp featured services specific to the USACE’s needs, such as classrooms, medical services and training facilities.
