Ultra-compact, rugged EMCCD cameras
Phoenix Engineering Inc. offers a wide range of ultra compact, rugged and high performance cameras such as the HAWK EMCCD, the FALCON EMCCD and the OWL SWIR. ?The HAWK camera is the smallest and most rugged EMCCD camera in the world. It has been specifically designed for integration into imaging systems such as small EO/IR surveillance platforms. It is small, lightweight, rugged and low power; it is therefore the ideal camera for OEM and integrators. The HAWK camera (monochrome or colour) is available in analogue or digital format.
High-sensitivity camera
The digital FALCON EMCCD camera combines high sensitivity, speed and high resolution. It uses Texas Instruments’ one megapixel frame transfer impactron device which provides QE up to 65%.
FALCON EM285 comes with a standard camera link output. It is the smallest and most rugged 1MP EMCCD camera in the world. It is ideally suited for any low light imaging application such as hyperspectral imaging, X-ray Imaging and low light surveillance. It is small, lightweight, low power and is therefore the ideal camera for OEM and integrators.
Short wave infrared camera
The OWL SW1.7 is a world leading camera using InGaAs technology for near and short wave infrared imaging. It offers the latest SWIR sensor technology providing unprecedented day-night surveillance performance. Featuring a State of the Art high sensitivity InGaAs FPA sensor, developed by Alcatel-Thales III-V lab, the OWL SW1.7 offers pixels resolution of 320×256, with pixel pitch of 30μm x 30μm.
The OWL SW1.7 series offers high sensitivity response in the range 0.9 to 1.7μm, allowing exposure time from 500ns to 500ms, to give optimum image quality in all conditions.
