Members of the US Army in Europe and Georgia are preparing to train armed forces at the Vaziani Training Area in Georgia, as part of Exercise Noble Partner 2015.
Exercise Noble Partner is a bilateral effort that aims to enhance the interoperability of US and Georgian Nato Response Force (NRF).

Scheduled to be carried out from 11 to 25 May, the initiative is part of Army Europe’s efforts to strengthen it’s military-to-military relationship with Georgia.
The US will contribute mechanised infantry company from First Brigade and Third Infantry Division for NRF 2015-16.
Army Europe’s forces, including paratroopers’ rifle company from the 173rd Airborne Brigade will be part of the exercise.
The programme involves approximately 600 US and Georgian Service members as well as equipment, including the US Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle and various wheeled-support vehicles. It will cover field-training exercise and a live-fire exercise.

By GlobalDataThe US Army is transporting the equipment to the port of Batumi, Georgia, to support the Second Battalion, Seventh Infantry Regiment, Third Infantry Division soldiers participating in the exercise.
Chief warrant officer four, of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command transportation branch Mark Shawen said: "Movement from Varna, Bulgaria, across the Black Sea to the port of Batumi in Georgia opens new avenues for transport with partner nations.
"Expanding freedom of movement enables easier access to training with allies as well as responding quickly to contingency operations."
With it’s BMP-2 Infantry Combat Vehicle, Georgian forces will operate alongside the US forces, and will be joined by 173rd Airborne for airborne operations.
