The US have the highest number of confirmed cases, forming almost a fifth of all cases worldwide, and is continuing to rise.

Pharmaceutical developers Pfizer and BioNTech have developed a Covid-19 vaccine that has been tested on over 43,000 participants in various countries with no safety concerns raised.
It is taken in two doses, three weeks apart with 90% protection achieved seven days after the second dose.
However, there is no information as to whether the severity of infections is reduced in vaccinated participants.
