Asahi Kasei Group company ZOLL Medical has received a sole-source contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to deliver Propaq M vital signs monitors for the US Army.
As the joint ‘product of choice’, the deployable monitors will also be supplied to the US Air Force.

Propaq M is equipped with enhanced abilities compared to the Propaq Encore 206 and is designed for military operations in adverse conditions.
The monitor can be equipped with an integrated defibrillator and pacer for critical lifesaving missions.

“This recent award demonstrates the DoD’s confidence in ZOLL’s monitoring and defibrillation technology that is currently deployed throughout the services today.”
Propaq M is available with an integrated printer, which allows the services to reduce size and weight.
Furthermore, Propaq M features the advanced Masimo rainbow SET technology, including total haemoglobin (SpHb) and pleth variability index (PVI). It also features the latest physiologic monitoring with three integrated invasive blood pressure channels.
The system supports the US Department of Defence standardisation and interoperability goals across the US Armed Forces from Medevac to critical care airlift missions worldwide.
