The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has awarded a contract to Stantec for upcoming military projects.
Valued at $40m, the contract will include the projects that cover all across the Baltimore District area of responsibility and the broader area of USACE North Atlantic Division.
Under the five-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, Stantec will be responsible for offering architecture, engineering and other associated services to the USACE.
However, Stantec noted that the projects that fall in the USACE Baltimore District IDIQ ‘will continue in alignment with the mission of the Department of Defense’ in the wake of Covid-19.
Currently, the company provides the new Special Operations Forces Battalion Operations Facility with services that include project management, architecture and interior design.
Additionally, it provides structural engineering, landscape architecture and land surveying. The facility is located at Humphreys Engineer Center in Virginia.
