The US Army has awarded an $88m task order to CACI International to deliver engineering and technical support for five years.
The contract will support the US Army Communications-Electronics Command Software Engineering Center’s Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Program Office.

Under the contract, CACI will deliver support services covering scientific, systems, and software engineering and technical.
CACI president and chief executive officer John Mengucci said: “CACI’s highly qualified personnel and proven expertise in electronic warfare reprogramming capabilities will help support army commanders across the full range of military operations to stay ahead of ever-evolving threat environments.
“We are committed to delivering advanced technology and talent to meet our customers’ evolving requirements.”
It has been awarded under the Software and Systems Engineering Services Next Generation (SSES NexGen) contract vehicle.

ARAT was created two and a half decades ago to transform the army’s approach to rapid software reprogramming.
It helps develop, deliver, and sustain cyberspace electromagnetic activities system software to support commanders in military missions globally.
