Senop, a subsidiary of Millog and part of Patria, has secured an order from Saab for the delivery of its advanced fire control device thermal imager (AFCD TI) smart sight.
To be delivered to an undisclosed Nato nation, this AFCD TI is specifically designed for integration with Saab’s Carl-Gustaf system.
The Carl-Gustaf recoilless rifle is a versatile, man-portable weapon system used by dismounted soldiers to tackle various battlefield challenges.
The AFCD TI smart sight is compatible with both Carl-Gustaf M4 and M3 models, integrating critical performance features into a single casing.
It offers an uncooled thermal imager, day camera, eye safe laser rangefinder, inertial measurement unit, and ballistic computer with environmental sensors.
These features enable effective target engagement, day or night, with a high first-hit probability.
