The Russian Armed Forces’ military branch Strategic Missile Forces (SMF) is set to receive 20 remote mine-clearing units and 50 engineering support and concealment vehicles.
The engineering subunits of the SMF are currently being supplied with the equipment in order to enhance manoeuvrability and durability of mobile-based combat missile systems.
The vehicles are due to be delivered to the Russian military by 2020.
The Listva electronic mine-clearing devices are capable of detecting mines at distances of up to 100m in a 30° sector.
The remote vehicles are designed and developed for the SMF to support the mobile missile systems.
More than 300 pieces of engineering equipment are also due to be delivered to the SMF engineering divisions.
