Mack Defense has partnered with JWF Defense Systems to assemble the Lakota 6×6 vehicle system.
Powered by a US-built engine, the Lakota can travel at top speed of 62mph with a range of up to 1,400 miles.
The vehicle is available in five variants, and accommodate nearly 12 personnel.
It provides a fully armoured hull and its lighter weight allows for improved manoeuvrability and off-road mobility..
Designed to meet the needs of a variety of missions, the vehicle’s capabilities were tested in multiple locations throughout the US including California, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
Mack Defense president Ryan Werling said: "The Lakota 6×6 delivers the capabilities of an 8×8, but at a fraction of the cost.

"JWF Defense has a long tradition of supporting the US Department of Defense, and we are excited to have them as part of our team. In addition to the partnership for the Lakota, we also believe there is an opportunity for JWF to participate in the assembly of other armoured vehicle programs that we are pursuing around the globe."
