Technology provider iDirect has entered an agreement with the Danish Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) to deliver hardware, software, and services to the Danish Army.
The army will use the iDirect Evolution defence portfolio to ensure high-quality support for multinational missions.
They will also have access to the wideband global SATCOM (WGS) programme, which uses the defence and commercial satellites of partnering nations.
The iDirect platform has advanced quality of service (QoS) capabilities, which will allow the army to balance traffic between operational and welfare requirements, and mobile and static deployments.
iDirect also has TRANSEC capabilities, designed to bolster the army’s network security.
The new products are expected to provide the army with a highly efficient and resilient portfolio of remotes, designed to lower operating costs.
