Harris has been contracted by the US Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to supply precision approach radars (PAR) over a period of eight years.
Valued at $96m, the single-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract requires the company to supply PAR to the US Navy, Air Force and Army.
The high-performance systems would help enhance precision approaches and military air traffic management capabilities, the company said.
Harris Electronic Systems president Ed Zoiss said: "Harris military precision approach radars combine considerable technical capability with high levels of reliability and affordability.
"This blend of cutting-edge technology and dependable performance makes Harris the leading supplier of PAR systems to US and international military customers."
Harris produces air traffic control and 3-D air defence radars for tactical applications. The company’s PAR systems are currently used by the US military and more than 20 international allies.

By GlobalDataThe latest contract award follows a $405m foreign military sales IDIQ contract for tactical radios from the US Army Communications-Electronics Command earlier this month.
The contract will see Harris providing tactical communications equipment, including export versions of its single channel ground and airborne radio system (SINCGARS), as well as ground and airborne configurations of the SpearNet Team Member radio.
It also covers associated products and spares; and training, installation and field service support.
Harris communication systems president Chris Young previously said: "Harris’ SINCGARS and other tactical radios deliver situational awareness into the hands of the warfighter."
