DynCorp International (DI) has received a $123m contract modification to deliver mission support services at the US Army National Training Center (NTC) in Fort Irwin, California, US.
The Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV contract modification provides services requiring more than 800 personnel.
LOGCAP is a regulatory programme that provides a variety of contracted logistics and support services to augment US and allied forces.
DI LOGCAP IV vice-president Rob Tillery said: “Expanding LOGCAP IV’s use to include a US installation serving training and contingency efforts is a smart move by the government and we appreciate their confidence in DI’s ability to provide mission essential services for the US Army’s premiere training centre.”
Under the contract modification, DI will support ten Brigade Combat Team (BCT) annual rotations, as well as maintain the NTC Operations Group Observer / Controller tactical vehicles and a commercial vehicle fleet in support of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment.
The support covers fuel, munitions, ground and communications and electronic maintenance, multiclass supply, common user land transportation (CULT), transient billeting, and operations.
