The UAE Ministry of Defence has awarded a $658.8m contract to Nimr Automotive, a military vehicle manufacturer based in the UAE, for the supply of armoured vehicles.
Nimr will manufacture and deliver 400 eight-wheel drive armoured vehicles for the UAE Armed Forces, under the deal.
Elbit Systems of America has been selected to deliver mortar fire control systems to the US Army.
Awarded by the US Army Contracting Command, the deal covers a lightweight handheld mortar ballistic computer, mortar fire control systems mounted (MFCS-M), and mortar fire control systems dismounted (MFCS-D).
Qioptiq has secured a contract worth $101.74m from the UK Ministry of Defence to provide support services for surveillance and targeting equipment used by the UK Armed Forces.
Under the contract, Qioptiq will provide support for equipment including day and night weapon sights and night vision goggles.
