The US Army has awarded a $125m contract to CACI International to provide software engineering support to the army’s field artillery and fire support systems.
Under the Army’s Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) contract, CACI will provide command and control, fire support, meteorological measuring systems, Firefinder Radar Systems, and Lightweight Counter Mortar Radar systems.
The contract will aid in the US Army’s enhancement to network architectures to support the Fires Software Engineering Division’s (FSED) mission.
CACI subcontractors include Technology Service Corporation and Techrizon amongst others.
The contract has been awarded by the US Army’s CECOM’s (Communications-Electronics Command) FSED.
