General Dynamics has reported a 32% increase in first quarter earnings, mainly generated by sales of armoured vehicles and tanks.
The company says it earned US$572m, up from US$434m for the same period last year.
Total sales at the firm increased 11 percent to US$7bn.
Sales in the combat division rose more than 27 percent to US$1.99bn during the first quarter, but information systems and technology sales dropped 1.3 percent to US$2.35bn.
