General Dynamics has reported a fourth quarter profit of 42 percent on the same period last year, with full-year profit up 12.9 percent.
Driven by high sales of combat vehicles to the US Army and corporate jets, quarterly profit rose to US$570m from US$408m in the same period last year.
Sales revenue increased 15 percent to US$7.52bn, due to high demand for equipment to supply troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Combat division revenue rose 46 percent to US$2.6bn.
Yearly profit rose to US$2.1bn, up from US$1.86bn.
