TeleCommunication Systems (TCS) has received a contract extension to provide turnkey, single-source, quick-reaction solutions for emerging communications requirements worldwide in support of all US federal missions.
The 11-month extension forms part of the US Army world-wide satellite systems (WWSS) indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, under which TCS delivered satellite equipment and global logistics support.

TCS solutions’ offer under the contract includes the SwiftLink suite of products and services that support secure, deployable communications.
The $5bn multiple-award contract, which was issued with a five-year period with completion originally scheduled later this month, has been extended to July 2012.
All deliveries under the award are required to be complete by 28 August 2012.
