Thoroughbred Technologies has been awarded a contract for the maintenance and repair support of driver simulators used by the South African Army.
The R9.448m ($1.34m) contract follows a previously awarded R8.8m ($1.25m) contract for the upgrade and extension of driver simulators for the joint operations division of the South African National Defence Force, according to DefenceWeb.
The company has also been awarded a contract by Denel Land Systems (DLS) to design, develop and supply 60 Badger simulators and eight instructor stations to the South African Army.
