Leidos has won a single-award task order from the US Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACG-APG).
Under the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee task order, the company will deliver the Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (IEW&S) system and software support.

It is intended for the modern platform sensor and electronic warfare systems of the US Army’s Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC), Sensors and Mission Equipment Division (SMED).
CECOM is a major subordinate command and serves as the army’s materiel integrator. It sustains and delivers command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C5ISR) readiness.
It works with other Army Materiel Command (AMC) commands and industry partners to provide C5ISR hardware, software and mission command capabilities.
Leidos Defense Group C4ISR Solutions senior vice-president Mike Rickels said: “Leidos understands the criticality of C5ISR readiness as warfighters face the possibility of electronic warfare.
“We stand ready to help CECOM stay ahead of adversaries with secure software development and detailed production reporting.”
The one-year base contract will have an additional four one-year options with a total ceiling value of $210m.
Work under the task order will be carried out at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, US.
Using the experience gained in Secure Development Operations (SecDevOps), Leidos will develop a process for Post-Production and Post-Deployment Software Support.
Further, Leidos will provide real-time status of schedules and work efforts according to customer requirements.
In May this year, Leidos won a contract to develop a software solution for the US Army’s Unmanned Aircraft System Ground Control Station – Version 4 (UASGCS-V4).
